Transportation Technology Services has designed a number of specialized equipment for unique loads moved on heavy duty and Schnable cars.
TTS engineering employees have attended the AAR Open Top Loading class in Overland park KS.
TTS can provide consulting on specialized load such as:
- Engineering and Drawings with the use of CAD programs for clearances, tie-down, loading/unloading, and trucking
- Trained crews / heavy equipment for the loading & securing of cargo on railcars or trucks
- Works with Class 1 and short lines to obtain clearances
- GPS/impact recorders to monitor cargo to insure safe and timely delivery, engineering interpretation and reporting of impact recorders
- Provide professional and general liability insurance to cover engineering and handling of cargo on rail
