Transportation Technology Services (TTS) of Southlake, TX, is excited to announce the opening of a new rail served distribution center in Kiowa, KS (6011 SE State Highway K2  Kiowa, KS 67070).  The facility is located approximately 3 miles north of the Kansas and Oklahoma border on KS-2/Main Street. TTS has worked with BNSF Railway to develop a rail service plan for this new facility. The facility will be used primarily to receive wind components for projects in Kansas, Oklahoma, and the Texas Panhandle. However, the facility is equipped to handle all types of dimensional cargo, pipe, power plant equipment, refinery vessels, sand, aggregate stone, cement, etc. The facility has approximately 22,200 linear feet of track to receive both complete unit trains, and single carloads. Additionally, there is approximately 10 acres of onsite storage space available for both short and long term storage. TTS Field Operations will operate the facility, including operating cranes to offload railcars, and will provide full time security at the site.
