Scott Landrum, president of TTS, is a registered professional engineer (PE) in the state of Texas and brings 26 years of industry experience to his role. He founded TTS in 2001 and provides strategic direction and management as the company continues to grow. Scott also works on new car design and modifications, provides technical consultation and performs load inspections for BNSF Railway. Among other accomplishments, he developed the first commercial scale fixtures and first securement devices to allow wind components to be transported via rail. Prior to creating TTS, Scott was the Manager of Mechanical Engineering at BNSF Railway, the Chief Engineer at Premiere Engineering and a Project Engineer with Thrall Car Manufacturing Co.  He studied Mechanical Engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University.
John Dalman

With 29 years of experience in the industry, John Dalman is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in Wisconsin and joined TTS in 2009 as General Manager. He oversees all aspects of safety, operations, accounting, marketing and HR. He facilitated the development of the TTS Operations Manual for operating a distribution center for wind turbine components. He also led the development of the company’s HR policy manual, safety manual, employee handbook and initiated the company’s formal quality program. Prior to joining TTS, John served as General Manager of the Rail Division at Hadady Corporation, Director of Engineering at Miner Enterprises, VP of Engineering at Johnstown America Corporation, Manager of Mechanical Engineering at BNSF Railway and served in the US Navy, working in various capacities in nuclear power plant operations on an active-duty submarine. Additionally, he was a top graduate of the US Navy Nuclear Plant Operator School and was selected to teach for 2 years following graduation. John holds an MBA from the Keller School of Business and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. 

Roger Roby PE.

Roger Roby, Director of Engineering, is a Professional Engineer registered in multiple jurisdictions with over twenty years diverse engineering experience in both design and manufacturing engineering.  Projects have involved machine design, system integration, design project management, and process development/improvement. Innovative and proven driven leader, focused on achieving exceptional results in a time-sensitive environments that demands continuous improvement.  Prior to joining TTS Roger was an Engineering Manager with Siemens (Industry) for 11 years where he was involved in various engineering projects sized from $3M to $150M+.  His career also had development opportunities with FMC Technologies, Gencor Industries, Sanden, CCC conveyors and Saxet Fabrication.   Roger is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

With 12 years of experience in railcar design and logistics, Chris came aboard as Director of Logistics at TTS in 2006. He has led the movement of more than 20,000 railcars (primarily transporting wind power components), serves as operations manager for wind power projects and holds two patents for rail transport fixtures that were designed for wind blades. During his career, he has served as Project Manager and CAD Designer at Cobb Tool & Engineering, as Project Engineer at Premier Engineering and as a Draftsman at Thrall Car Manufacturing Co.
